Osteoporosis Osteoporosis is a significant health problem that affects more than 25 million women in the United States and potentially 200 million worldwide. This disease is characterized by diminishing the structure of the skeleton (particular the "spongy" bone). This results in an increased risk of fracture. Osteoporosis develops silently over a period of years, eventually progressing to a point where a fracture can easily occur causing pain and disability. This disease is characterized by low bone mass and structural worsening of your bones, leading to bone fragility. There is an increased chances of damaging the hip, spine, and wrist . Twenty-five million Americans are affected by Osteoporosis, making it a major public health problem. 80% of those affected by osteoporosis are women. One out of every two women and one in five men have an Osteoporosis-related fracture. By age 75, one third of all men will be affected by osteoporosis. While osteoporosis is often thought of as an older person's disease, it can strike at any age. Osteoporosis is responsible for 1.5 million fractures annually, including: -more than 300,000 hip fractures -500,000 vertebral fractures -200,000 wrist fractures Certain some people are more likely to develop Osteoporosis than others. Paul said certain things here that can give the modern-day workers of the gospel a glimpse into how did Paul do his work as a servant of Christ. Remember that the first Disciples of Christ who became His apostles, strictly obeyed Jesus’ instructions of â€Å"preaching the gospel† and â€Å"making disciples.† Whenever they teach, they would teach what Jesus had taught them, and they followed Jesus’ strategy of ministry.They all reflected Jesus Christ in the manner that they do their work. In Apostle Paul’s words, we have an apostolic standard: teaching, living by example, and receiving by faith what they have heard (on the part of the listeners/followers).1.) Teaching. In the Great Commission (Matt.28:19-20), teaching is one of the major parts. All those who are involved in the gospel work must know for certain that teaching is first in their â€Å"to-do† list.The gospel message must be preached clearly and effectively. When it comes to winnin g souls for Christ, nothing can replace the preaching and teaching of the gospel. Modern-day tricks may for a time draw people, but genuine conversion of souls happens only when the gospel is preached/taught.2.) Living up to what you preach. Many today have been able to master the skills necessary for powerful preaching. They have charismatic and strong pulpit presence. But when it comes to living out in public what they preach, they fall short. Here, at this point, is where the church at large is lacking.Many who are drawn to good and powerful gospel preaching are looking for human examples – people who put flesh on the word of God; those who are incarnational in their approach. Paul said, â€Å"The things which you learned. . . and saw in me, these do. . . .† It is only when the teachers themselves have learned to live out in the reality of daily life their teachings can they be able to tell their audience to act on what they had been taught. 3.)Do what I teach. Conv iction is present when the preacher knows by experience what he/she is talking about. Paul was able to preach to the Thessalonians powerfully, and they believed and accepted Paul’s message as the very words of God because the apostle preached to them in such a powerful way and full of conviction. He lived what he preached; therefore, the word of God is effective in them. They followed and obeyed Paul’s preaching.

Formed in 1958 the European Union is an economic and political union between 28 member countries. It was created after World War II as a way to ensure peace between European nations. These countries share a common currency called the Euro. Those in who reside in EU countries are also granted EU passports, which allow for easy travel between nations. In 2016, Brittain shocked the world by choosing to leave the EU. The referendum was known as Brexit.   The Treaty of Rome The treaty of Rome is seen as the formation of the what is now called the EU. Its official name was the Treaty Establishing the European Economic  Community. It created a single market across the nations for goods, labor, services, and capital. It also proposed a reduction in customs duties. The treaty sought to strengthen the economies of the nations and to promote peace. After two World Wars, many Europeans were eager for peaceful alliances with their neighboring countries. How standardized are standardized tests? In America, we strive to perfect them as well as give our students an education they deserve but at what cost? Standardized tests have been the easiest way to ultimately evaluate a student against every other student in America. However, standardized tests are not as great as they are made out to be. We need to take a step back and look at the faults of standardized tests. Quite simply: Standardized tests are not standardized. I do agree with this statement because it is so easy for a student to guess their answers to a multiple choice test rather than a short answer where knowledge is needed. However, some multiple choice tests are useful; for example, English and reading comprehension (Zimmerman, 2014). In dealing with math questions students can typically plug in answers to the question or figure out ways on their calculators to get the answer and show no work other than wha t they are doing to get around the real work that is usually needed (Smith, 2010, p. 58). I think this is true because students are learning the application to math problems in most math classes which teaches them how to get around tedious math problems with the use of their graphing calculators, i.e., expensive. This is showing that students that have the right tools to get around such problems might not know how to do the math in the real world. Although these tests now have limits on what kind of calculators a person can use, they still can get around the math problems. Answer: Facts of the case: Application under section 206G of the Corporations Act 2001 was made by Mr. Schwartz on 7 August 2007, for the purpose of granting leave to manage the proprietary company. This company was registered under the Act and named as Baby belle Pty Ltd. Application made by Mr. Schwartz also applied for the leave to appoint as director of the Baby belle. However, it must be noted that application was not made as per the terms of the issue. Legal issues: The main issue related to this case is whether it is possible to give leave to Schwartz under Section 206G of the Corporation Act 2001, for the purpose of managing the specific corporation named as Baby belle? It must be noted that, Mr. Schwartz wants leave for appointing in Baby belle as director, but application made by them was not made as per the terms of the issue. Issue involved in this case was complicated in nature because it involves charges of early prosecution related to Mr. Schwartz. Law: Legal rules related to this case are stated in the Corporation Act 2001. Case mainly involves rules stated below: Section 206G (1) of the Corporation Act 2001 states that, in case any was person disqualified for managing the operations of the Company, then such person has right to apply to the Court for granting leave to manage a corporation, specific types of corporation, or any particular corporation if ASIC does not disqualify such person. Mr. Schwartz made application under clause c of this section for the purpose of managing Baby belle. Section 206B (1) states that, person is disqualified from managing the corporation if such person was previously involve in any offence which involves dishonesty and imprisonment for at least 3 months. In the present case, Plaintiff was engaged in the offense stated in section 206B (1), and also convicted for the period of 5 years. This case also involves Section 206A (1). As per this section if person is disqualified by the Act for the purpose of managing the corporation then such person commits offence if such person participate in decision making process or provide instructions, etc. Decision of the case: Application made by Mr. Schwartz was dismissed by the Court. Court stated that evidence provided by Mr. Schwartz was unjustified because of the following reasons: Summary related to evidence raised some serious issues such as whether section 206A was contravened by Mr. Schwartz and whether he continuously contravenes this section. Court also stated that Mr. Schwartz engaged in conduct which was disqualified and includes offences related to dishonesty. Judge further stated that, he must review the facts of the case presented before him, and he was bound to apply the principles stated above for the purpose of determining the issue whether it was right for the Court to grant leave to Mr. Schwartz.
